In 2005, I was secretly falling in love with the idea of becoming a celebrant. It’d only been a short time since I’d started in the wedding industry, but the idea was very quickly stealing my heart.

I mean, getting the front row at the ceremony on the most memorable day of people’s lives is quite spectacular. Add in being the one who unites them in sweet, sweet matrimony (sigh!)—it’s pretty damn special. But I also loved the event management side of things; being involved with the wedding from start to finish.

The thing is, I couldn’t do both at once. So, I chose to move into celebrancy—and here we both are.

I love everything about weddings.

I love seeing everyone happy and hugging.

I love that people are always up for a party, and I sure do love champagne.

But mostly, I love showing my clients that weddings can be SO much fun. One of the best parts of my job is meeting couples, throwing around ideas and creating a plan for the ceremony of their dreams.

To then meet (and often have a glass of bubbles) with their family and friends at the wedding, well, that’s just a bonus!

I take great pride in making YOUR day unforgettable.
